LODD Coin Program

While it is known that so many of us give so much throughout our lives to make someone's life just a bit better, and we strive to one day enjoy a long and prosperous retirement. Some of us are fortunate enough to watch our families grow, get married, graduate college, and spoil our grandkids. So many also do not get those luxuries. 

Each year hundreds of first responders lose their lives in the line of duty. Whether it be due to health reasons, mishaps on the job, or at the hands of someone else it still happens and it happens too often. We take it for granted each and every day when we leave our families at home to go help someone else, that we will return at the end of our shift in time to make it to the next meal, ball game, or family gathering.

To make it a little easier for the families, friends, and colleagues of fallen brothers and sisters. I at Forged in Coins would like to extend a program to help those in such a time of need. 

The program would include all artwork, production, and delivery of coins to memorialize such individuals at 20% BELOW our cost of production. This is the least I can offer for someone who has given so much so that others may live.  Fundraisers for fallen first responders can also qualify for this program. Fundraising efforts must be accompanied by family contact to verify the approval and distribution of funds to said person's family or to offset other costs.
